![]() That would be cool if you had an injector problem it would show. Torque shows pids for injectors but none of them work either. Maybe to read the other temps require an adapter with a special protocol. Most of the ELM327 adapters mention they handle many other sensors. It could certainly be the adapter I have but there must be some protocol you'd need to have to access those sensors. The ECU doesn't report anything for the transmission in that section of Torque. It seems like there's some extended GM functions that need to be accessed. I don't actually save anything in the edit function, just use the test option. Also when I add the gauge I get no value. When I go into the pid section and edit the 2 trans fluid temps you mention, there's a test option and those along with many others come back with no data while the oil pressure, coolant temp come back with a value. I get all the regular odb2 stuff I used to get with my old scan tool, coolant temp, rpm, oil pressure. In the list of sensors while car running or with ignition on, doesn’t show oil or trans oil temp but shows Ambient Air Temp.Īny ideas why it’s not showing or returning data for the Trans fluid temp?Ĭlick to expand. The connection to the adapter works fine. Trans fluid temp 221940 Equation A-40 for both method 1& 2. Here’s the PID’s the system defaulted which is also the ones I’ve found on this site: ![]() I tried others like Oil Pressure and it showed the result. On each of the temps I was trying I used the Test option for each and it came up No Data. ![]() I went thru the process of adding the gauges and when the car is running, nothing shows. It already has them listed in the Manage extra PID’s/Sensors but I also tried to add them with the Add Predefined Set >Pontiac/GM/Opel/Vauxhall which made no difference. Got it working on my Android phone but it doesn’t show many temps ie. It came with Torque Pro1.8.16 as well as some other ODB2 apps. I got a Mini ELM327 2.1 blue tooth adapter. I’m trying to check the Trans Fluid Temp on my 2014 Impala LT Limited. ![]()
